Almodovar tells Talking Movies He "Confronts Death" through his Films
Pedro Almodovar, the Oscar winning filmmaker widely seen as Spain’s greatest living director, recently received the prestigious Chaplin Award from New York's Film At Lincoln Center, one of America’s top cultural institutions.
While the filmmaker thanked the assembled crowd, he also used the occasion to give a damning critique of President Trump.
Tom Brook met the Spanish filmmaker on the red carpet for BBC Talking Movies. Almodovar says that making films is his way of confronting mortality.
