Riscas' BBC Introducing Session at Lakefest
Riscas have had an incredible journey and really demonstrate what BBC Introducing is all about.
They sent their music into us, here at BBC Hereford & Worcester, and we loved it so much we played it on the radio and passed it onto BBC Radio 1.
Just a couple of weeks later, their track 'Panic Like Tom' ended up on their daytime playlist, gaining support from the likes of Greg James, Alice Levine, Clara Amfo, Dev and Scott Mills, which got them to #4 on Spotify's Most Viral in the UK.
They formed as part of a college course and are influenced by The 1975 and Bob Marley.
"One of the most exciting bands in the Midlands right now who steal the show with their live performances" - Andrew Marston.
