16 years since their debut record ‘Turn on the Bright Lights’, and with a further four more albums to their name, Interpol return, and surprise, with their revitalising sixth record ‘Marauder’, released in August on Matador.

Daniel and Paul joined Steve to talk about their writing process, how they keep things fresh and what it was like, and why they decided to work with, Dave Fridmann. The band also played 3 live tracks for us, recorded at BBC Maida Vale Studios. Oh, and it turns out one of them is from Essex.
