Beyond The Globe
Many of Shakespeare’s greatest plays were presented in the original Globe theatre. But the bard’s work was also performed across England, by the playwright and his players and then through the following centuries. The BBC’s “Shakespeare on Tour” explores the places and performers who took the dramatist on the road. Here’s the BBC’s David Sillito with a preview.
