How we shot three scenes in one single take to show off Beth’s frenetic energy

“The demands placed on Beth in episode 2 are greatly increased,” explains Series Producer Catherine Gosling Fuller. “We decided that a good way to introduce some frenetic energy into the performance was to film three scenes as one.”

“The production crew tested the setup to see whether a special camera stabiliser would be necessary and you can see from the sped-up video how closely the walk-through – if not the performances! – matched the final scenes.”
