Flintoff: 'I've been hungover' at the crease
Former England Cricketer Andrew Flintoff told 5 live how he 'used alcohol to escape the way [he] was feeling.'
'However, I would wake up the next morning and everything had magnified by ten. It was awful.'
Flintoff, who stopped drinking alcohol in 2014, told Caroline Barker and Dotun Adebayo he hadn't ever been drunk at the crease, but he had been hungover. Adding he even scored a hundred at Lords after drinking the night before.
'It's not something I'd advocate at all, but from time to time it did happen.'
