Arthur Miller's first UK television inteview
First broadcast on Panorama on 24th September 1956, playwright Arthur Miller is interviewed by Woodrow Wyatt. His play A View from the Bridge was being staged in the UK at the time, despite being censured by the Lord Chamberlain due to its homosexual themes. Wyatt interviewed Miller shortly after his marriage to Marilyn Monroe. The couple lived in the UK for four months while she was filming The Prince and Showgirl with Sir Laurence Olivier.
