Olivier winner Penelope Wilton on 'vitality' in West End
Penelope Wilton won the Best Actress award at Sunday's Oliviers for her role in Mark Hayhurst’s Taken at Midnight.
Wilton said there was currently a vitality in straight drama in the West End.
“In theatre there’s a change every night,” she told James Naughtie on the contrast between her stage and screen acting. “It’s a very unique experience.”
