Fault Line all met at the Bishop of Hereford's Bluecoat School and have been winning talent competitions ever since.

The first was in 2012, where the prize was to have three songs recorded at Rockfield Studios in Monmouth.

The second was last year, which gained them more studio time.

They're influenced by bands such as Oasis and Arctic Monkeys and hope to become full time musicians when they leave college.

All of our live studio sessions and festival gigs since 2005...

5 July: West Fest @ West Malvern Playing Fields

5 July: West Fest @ West Malvern Playing Fields

There now appears to be three West Fests in 2014 - one in West Didsbury and one championing dance music!

But this one takes place in West Malvern once a year and promotes, encourages and showcases musicians, artists, craftspeople and performers from the local area.

West Fest is a non-profit organisation, with proceeds distributed to organisations within the vicinity.

BBC Introducing in West Malvern

BBC Introducing in West Malvern
Malvern is the most musical place in the region, if the number of tracks we receive from the town is anything to go by.

It's also the home to several open mic nights including Tuesdays at the Great Malvern Hotel, Wednesdays at The Morgan, Thursdays that used to be at Re-Con and occasional nights at The Unicorn.

The West Malvern Social Club is one such venue hosting regular music, so it was a natural choice to take our monthly recording roadshow to the hills - as we celebrated not only the best in music, but Mothering Sunday too!

Supporting Gary Barlow

Supporting Gary Barlow

Most singers are in the industry for years before being able to say they're performing on the same bill as Gary Barlow.

But a young performer from Redditch will be the envy of many girls this weekend.

Tonight, Lucy May has been one of the warm up acts for Gary Barlow's Birmingham concert at the LG arena.

We hear about her journey so far.

BBC Introducing in Leominster

BBC Introducing in Leominster
Our next recording session takes place on Sunday 4 May at the Bell Inn, Leominster and features four acts who we've been playing on BBC Hereford & Worcester recently.

It's free to get in - and this is your chance to see how we capture live music on tape, while being able to enjoy some of the hottest new acts we've got in our area right now.

None of these artists knew they were being considered for a live session - they were chosen based on the tracks they uploaded to us.

Doors open at 2pm - but you're more than welcome to turn up anytime until 6pm.
