Longmeadow is exploding with summer colour, and Monty is potting up scented pelargoniums for their fragrance. Meanwhile, Toby Buckland visits horticultural gem Stockton Bury Gardens in Herefordshire.
Longmeadow is exploding with summer colour, and Monty is adding even more interest with a host of pretty perennials. He’s potting up scented pelargoniums for their fragrance, and in the Vegetable Garden, the garlic and potatoes are ready to harvest.
Toby Buckland visits Stockton Bury Gardens in Herefordshire, a horticultural gem that’s steeped in history, and meets the owner, who takes huge pride in his work. Sue Kent is in her Welsh garden for a midsummer treat: the roses are in full bloom, tomatoes are ripening, and her annuals are at their very best.
There is also a self-confessed fern fanatic whose back garden in Swindon is filled with them. And there's a lady with a garden overlooking Lyme Bay who is making the most of the microclimate to grow a range of beautiful and exotic plants.
