A promising footballer in his youth, Kenny decided to concentrate on the oval ball instead and went on to become one of Scotland's most successful exports, winning three English Premierships with Wasps, as well as a Scottish Premiership title with Stirling County.
He made his international debut in 1992, and by his retirement in 2005 had been capped 70 times and scored 220 points. During his time playing for Scotland, Kenny also played in the 2003 World Cup and scored 20 tries for the team.
Since retiring Kenny has worked on a number of enterprises including co-founding the National Fitness Games. He also champions - and fund raises - on behalf of several good causes, and is an in-demand after speaker on the subjects of dyslexia, neurodiversity and inclusion.
