Paul Atterbury welcomes two roadshow fans all the way from Canada, while Raj Bisram gets to meet a contributor who last visited the roadshow as a boy with his rare Queen Live LP.

Ronnie Archer-Morgan is intrigued to see some intricately carved wooden tribal paddles from French Polynesia, and Mark Smith hears the poignant story of a World War II pilot who flew several daring missions in which 27 of his fellow airmen perished.

There are some surprising charity shop finds too. Susan Rumfitt is amazed by a diamond-and-sapphire brooch bought for £2.50, and Gordon Foster is dazzled by an arts and crafts silver bowl bought for £6.

Fiona Bruce looks into the short but stellar career of Scottish racing legend Jim Clark and gets to see some of his personal items and trophies. She also explores a curious local tradition called Hand Ba’ – a rough-and-tumble street game played between 'uppies' and 'doonies' using balls filled with hay and moss.
