Steve Lamacq welcomes Brooklyn trio Bambara to the BBC’s Maida Vale studios for a live session to celebrate the release of their fifth album ‘Birthmarks’ is out now on Wharf Cat/Bella Union.

The album is the follow up to their 2020’s ‘Stray’ and their 2022 EP ‘Love On My Mind’ and was recorded in Ramsgate in the early summer of 2023, before taking the songs back to the US to complete.
