Episode 17

Every ounce of Scottish football, from the top of the pile to the dogfights. It means everything, it means nothing, and this is what it looks like from the terrace.

It’s the business end of the season, trophies are being handed out, and A View From The Terrace is here to digest every last morsel of it.

This week we look at the winners and losers from a big cup final weekend in the lower leagues, while we talk up the first team in the pyramid system to wrap up a league title this season.

The Scottish football time capsule is about to be buried and we are discussing which items of football fashion we want to preserve for future generations. Goalkeepers in joggers, full Highland dress in the dugout, and a good old-fashioned pair of black boots - which one must our ancestors never forget?

In Jobberography, we are travelling to this weekend’s biggest fixtures in style, either on a hovercraft, in a Spitfire or on the end of a bungee rope.

In the wee films, we meet a diehard St. Johnstone fan with a terminal illness who reflects on a lifetime of supporting his beloved Saints with his family by his side. We also go inside the colourful and flamboyant world of the Kilmarnock cheerleaders, one of the only cheer squads in Scottish football, as they lift spirits at Rugby Park come rain, snow or shine.

And with the season, and the series, drawing closer to its conclusion, it’s all to play for in the Banker. Can Telfer hold his nerve, or is he about to crumble?
