Antiques queen Irita Marriott and snazzy dresser and dealer Danny Sebastian hit the shops of Oxfordshire. From ercol chairs to a Liberty pewter vase and vesta case, it’s a blast.
Antiques queen Irita Marriott and snazzy dealer Danny Sebastian are zipping around Oxfordshire in their all-electric 1965 powder blue Beetle.
Amongst the usual singing and dancing and general hijinks, Danny finds time to buy a selection of antiques, including a doggie vesta case and an Archibald Knox-designed Liberty vase. Irita snuffles around in every dealer’s dream - an unsorted jewellery box - and unearths a rather special necklace. Our gal satisfies her addiction to porcelain with yet another delightful tea set. A real mixed bag of goodies from both road trippers ensures a rollicking romp around town and dale.
We also manage to pop into a branch of the Bodleian Library to discover the rarity and importance of a humble collection of booklets dating from the 16th century.
Lest we forget, this is a competition with the heat very much turned to max. But the big question is, who will seize the win?
