Today, Isata Kanneh-Mason performs Robert Schumann’s beloved cycle of nostalgia, Kinderszenen, which takes the listener on a journey through emotionally-nuanced miniatures. Next, the Takács Quartet perform one of Schubert’s early quartets, his Quartet in B flat major, D112, written when he was just 17.
