Rosalind Ventris and Tom Poster, Shenyang and Simon Lepper

Sean Rafferty is joined by viola player Rosalind Ventris, with pianist Tom Poster, as well as bass-baritone Shenyang and pianist Simon Lepper.

In her new album 'SOLA' (Delphian), violist Rosalind Ventris explores music for viola by women composers. She talks about her debut solo album and performs some pieces live, accompanied by pianist Tom Poster. Bass-baritone Shenyang and pianist Simon Lepper also join Sean Rafferty, ahead of their concerts in which they marry music and Chinese poetry from the era of the Tang dynasty (618-907AD).
