Cheltenham Festival 2022: Alexander Gadjiev

A final concert from the Pittville Pump Room in Cheltenham showcasing BBC Radio 3's New Generation Artists. Today, pianist Alexander Gadjiev pairs Debussy with two other composers, all three of whom delighted in taking piano music to new and exciting places. Many of the works in his programme require sophisticated technical gymnastics, but always in pursuit of the beguiling harmonies, exotic colours and enchanting musical stories.
