Keenan's This is Memorial Device is a satire about the post-punk scene that reminds Stephen of people he's known. Pippa loves The Shepherd's Hut by Tim Winton, as well as all of his other books, and Harriett shares with them both The Story of Lucy Gault by William Trevor.
