The Quay Sessions

Join Gideon Coe and Roddy Hart on BBC Music Day with The Charlatans, Lau and Arab Strap and the shortlist of 10 acts nominated for the Scottish Album Of The Year Award 2017.

Join Gideon Coe and Roddy Hart as they combine forces on BBC Music Day to broadcast live on both BBC Radio Scotland and BBC Radio 6 Music from Pacific Quay in Glasgow.

There'll be live performances from The Charlatans, Arab Strap and Lau plus the exclusive announcement of this year's shortlist of 10 acts nominated for the Scottish Album Of The Year Award 2017.

The Charlatans will be showcasing songs from their new album, Different Days. And award-winning folk trio Lau - Martin Green, Kris Drever and Aidan O'Rourke - celebrate a decade of ground-breaking music-making together.

Composer and performer Anna Meredith joins the show to share news of her year since winning the coveted 'Scottish Album of the Year Award' in 2016 for her album Varmints.
