In More Detail.....

Every Tuesday for the community in and around St Dogmaels on the north coast of Pembrokeshire, is market day - a day they can do their weekly shop at the local Producers Market. Despite being quite small it boasts a huge range of produce and this year it was voted the best food market in Britain in the BBC Food and Farming Awards. Rachael discovers that the food is exceptional - you can do your weekly food shop here - there's crab and lobster; beef, lamb and mutton; flour milled just across the road; there are cakes, award-winning cheeses, eggs, vegetables or the venison and wild boar sausages. Small in stature but big on local produce and community!
