BBC Sport and rugby union's Six Nations Committee today agreed for the BBC's live television coverage of the 2005 championship to be broadcast simultaneously on bbc.co.uk/sport and the www.rbs6nations.com website.
For the first time, internet users will be able to access BBC's live coverage of the Six Nations in full as it happens.
Limited highlights of video footage have previously been available online at half and full time, but this gives UK computer users the chance to watch all the action as a live simulcast.
Broadband users can access coverage in good quality, but narrowband users can also access it.
Andrew Thompson, BBC Sport's Head of Development, New Media and Sports News, said: "This deal enables us to make the championship even more accessible to people.
