BBC Television will show both of rugby union's Powergen Cup semi-finals live on BBC TWO in Sunday Grandstand on Sunday 6 March.

Pat Younge, BBC Sport's Head of Programmes and Planning, said: "We're happy to show both the Powergen Cup semis on the Sunday as a double-header, as we knew the RFU had scheduled in the Tsunami game on the Saturday and did not want to compete against it for rugby fans' attention.

"We know the rugby community will want to support the Tsunami game, which is why we've scheduled the semi-finals on the Sunday with the RFU's agreement.

"Taken together, it will be a massive weekend of quality rugby."
