Spectacular starlings
Check out this stunning footage of starlings coming in to roost, captured by a contributor to the BBC North East Wales website.
Craig Smith, a volunteer warden at Marchwiel Marsh, near Wrexham, got in touch after filming the birds' display earlier this month.
The reasons for these spectacular cloud-like gatherings which can involve hundreds of thousands of birds, have yet to be established for certain although it's believed the behaviour is intended to confuse predators.
