On the crest of a TV tidal wave

Chris Edwards Chris Edwards | 10:00 UK time, Monday, 28 April 2008

Somehow I drifted to a website seeking couch potatoes. Thinking I fitted the bill, I completed a suitable application, then forgot all about it...

Then in a whirlwind of phone calls, interviews and visits, I found myself in a Cardiff hotel standing on the crest of a TV tidal wave, being recorded, filmed, photographed, meeting new people and answering questions - oh so many questions!

I have to be totally honest and say I hope that this experience will help me appreciate even more what a fantastic country Wales is.

I hope I'll regain a love of nature and the outdoors, which Lucy my wife has been gently nudging me towards for many, many years.

So the victims have met. The cutting room floor is already overflowing. Bring on the tasks!
