Academi and Tŷ Newydd become Literature Wales

Two literary bodies in Wales have joined forces to create a new national organisation, Literature Wales.

Literature promotion agency Academi and Tŷ Newydd Writers' Centre have combined to form the new literature body. As well as continuing to run the many activities and events already established by both organisations - such as the Wales Book of the Year Award - Literature Wales will branch out into a number of new areas and funding partnerships.
