Newport to host first comedy festival
As part of the 2010 Newport Festival, the south Wales city will hold its first comedy festival in the autumn.
Confirmed comedians for the festival already include big name acts Shappi Khorsandi and Jon Richardson, who will both perform at The Riverfront.
Paddy the Clown will be bringing comedy for the kids while the Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppet Theatre will provide entertainment for the adults.
It's hoped that more established acts as well as local talent will also feature in the line-up.
Comedy Port will run from 9 October to 16 October, with events set to take place at venues across the city. Visit the Comedy Port 2010 website for the latest information.
