New Children's Poet Laureate for Wales announced

The new Children's Poet Laureate for Wales was revealed yesterday as Dewi 'Pws' Morris at the Urdd Gobaith Cymru National Eisteddfod in Ceredigion.

Morris, who will remain in the role for one year, is a well-known actor, singer, author and TV presenter.

Beginning his career as a teacher, he soon after turned to acting and starred in BBC Wales rugby comedy Grand Slam and numerous S4C productions including Pobol y Cwm, Hapus Dyrfa, Torri Gwynt, Byd Pws, Rownd a Rownd and Golffio.
