- Reuters has opened a bureau in Second Life. Wagner James Au who has been reporting from Second Life for quite some time gave us his thoughts on big media in virtual worlds
- Ivo Dawanay of Historymatters.org.uk told us about the attempt to break the "blog" world record and why we should all be "blogging" October 17th.
- And finally the Manchester Blog awards went swimmingly well. Robin Hamman will have more on this next week, including interviews and readings from some of the winning blogs.
