I'm a journalist with the BBC Sport website and Paralympic sport is my speciality.
I will be going to the Beijing Paralympics in September and keeping you up to date with the main issues in disability and Paralympic sport.
I've been involved with the disability sport section of the site since it was started in 2002 and also went to the 2004 Paralympics in Athens. From knowing very little at the beginning, I've learned a lot and been inspired by the achievements of so many Paralympians.
The site has won a number of honours and I was proud to accept the International Paralympic Committee's award for our coverage of the 2006 Turin Winter Games at a ceremony in Korea last year.
I joined the BBC in 1999 as one of Radio Ulster's Traffic and Travel reporters, where thankfully I stayed on terra firma rather than venture into a helicopter, and also reported on Irish League football matches.
From there, I spent some time with the BBC's travel news service in London before joining the BBC Sport website in late 2000, and I've been here ever since.
As well as disability sport, I also have a keen interest in horse racing and rugby league and get to report on both.
Outside work, I enjoy watching sports and travelling - often combining the two - and I have a long-standing ambition to sing in a choral performance of Carl Orff's Carmina Burana.
