MPfree? Google and Last.FM on the music copyright

In the week that saw MySpace launch their own digital music service and with Nokia and Sony Ericsson entering the market - it seems everyone wants a slice of the iTunes and Last.FM pie.

But who owns what and how musicians should get paid for their music played online and digital downloads remains unresolved.

Our presenter this week, Rory Cellan-Jones, had his own run-in with YouTube this week over music copyright which lead to an interview with their owners - Google.
