Happy Thursday and welcome along. Hope you've had a nice week so far, and as always tomorrow is friday which is good because that's when Pete Tong officially starts the weekend. I actually don't wait for Pete to start it anymore and instead start it myself at about 10.30am once we've had our aftershow meeting. I find that works better for me and allows a few extra hours of weekend good time vibe.

The good news is that a) i'm not working this weekend, and b) the football season starts for those that follow teams in the top tier of English football. These two things work well together, along with the fact that i'm also up in our flat in Manchester just around the corner from Bingo Central. Being only half an hour or so drive away, it's handy for Goodison Park as well as Everton kick of the new campaign at home to Blackburn Rovers. The pre season has been spectacularly unimpressive, so i can only hope that contrasting performances and fortunes arrive now that things start to count in terms of points. This will be really boring if you don't like football, so maybe i should talk about something else.

You may or not have heard that assitant producer of the show Matt Fincham is now officially responsible for all that is wrong in the world. This is something that we've known for a while, but now the rest of the planet has caught on, and a new craze of writing messages of blame directed at Matt Fincham on dirty vans and lorries has taken off. If you have the opportunity to write your own messages for Matt on a mucky vehicle (provided you have the owners consent of course), then why not give it a go? Also in the interests of safety, i'd urge you to only write on stationary vehicle,as this is always the safest option.

Tonight i might have chicken and salad and savoury rice for my tea. You'd probably think these three items might be an odd combination, but they do compliment each other very well and provide a tasty and nutritous meal. The chicken needs eating up, cos i think it might go out of date tomorrow, so i'll have to do something with it.

If like me you like chicken, especially the tasty tandoori or thai versions you get at a well supermarket T*SCOS, then why not let me know in the comments area below. I don't really care, but it's a way of generating blog responses and make myself look popular.

Oh i nearly forgot to say, i've bought my suit and shoes for the wedding. It's dead nice although it is quite expensive, and now i've just got to get a shirt to go with it. This shouldn't be too much of a problem as i've still got over a week yet. It means that Jayne will now hassle me less, which is good timing with the return of the new football season and all.

I'll let you know how i get on

Until next time

Stay Safe

Dave.
