Lily Allen - 'Littlest Things'

Lily AllenWhoa, where did angry Lily go? She’s gone all angelic and non man-hating. Gasp!

There are still the usual modern bits and bobs that, like the driving drum machine and bouncy bass line. But unusually, the spotlight has to go on the vintage, 40s piano accompaniment, it’s just so lush and flowy.

Windows Media: Realmedia:
High / Low High / Low

Combine that with a very sweet sounding Miss Allen and some heart breakingly cute lyrics like “the first time that you introduced me to your friends, and you could tell that I was nervous so you held my hand” and you end up with a very sad, innocent, puppy eyed song that can't fail to trigger an “aww!” in everyone apart from those who've never loved anything or anyone ever.

Sit back, reminisce...and find some tissues. Sniff!
