Here is Deadly Art's Mike's step by step guide to making your own armadillo.
Arch mde from bolsa wood

Arch

Step 1: Stick strips of balsa wood together to make arches, using double sided tape. All the arches need to be 15 cm wide and the following heights:

  • Six 15 cm high arches
  • Two 8 cm high arches
  • Two 7 cm high arches

Step 2: Connect a 15cm high and an 8 cm high arch together with strips of balsa wood. Wrap with foil and tape the foil in place to make a body part. Repeat this step with another 15 cm and 8 cm arch, as well as two lots of two 15cm arches.

Step 3: Now take the two 7cm high arches and attach balsa wood strips to each to form a point, as shown above. Wrap this in foil and stick this in place to make the snout and tail of your armadillo.
