She brings the hostages together with those who put their lives on hold to secure their release - often at great personal cost.

Kidnapped - Programme Two

Dr Thomas Hargrove, an American agricultural scientist, was kidnapped by Colombian rebel group, FARC in September 2004, and held for eleven months.

His family paid two ransoms for his eventual release.

We reunite Dr Hargrove with the family's German neighbour, who was part of 'Team Tom' which organized the negotiations.
