Leonie had never really taken to her stepmother Lynda and usually only visited when she needed financial assistance from her father, Robert. However, Leonie has come to value Lynda's support through her ups and downs with her partner James.
Her relationship with James Bellamy tends to swing between revoltingly lovey-dovey and viciously antagonistic. They had a son in August 2014 whom Leonie wanted to call Mowgli. In the end they settled on Mungo.
