Mary Curnock Cook OBE

Mary Curnock Cook has been Chief Executive of UCAS, the organisation that manages applications to higher education courses in the UK, since January 2010. She had previously been Director of Qualifications and Skills at the Qualifications and Curriculum Development Agency since 2003.

She left school at 16 and joined International Biochemicals as a secretary leaving it as International Sales and Marketing Director.

She got an MSc in general management from the London Business School in 2001. She has headed many organisations and was awarded an OBE in 2000.
