Ursula Mackenzie is Chief Executive of Little, Brown Book Group. She started her career as a lecturer in English and American Literature at the University of Hong Kong, before deciding to pursue a career in publishing.
She worked for the literary agency International Scripts and for Granada Television as Rights Manager before joining Bantam Press where she became a director. In 2000 she joined the Little, Brown Book Group, and under her leadership the company was named Publisher of the Year in 2004. She was appointed Chief Executive and Publisher in 2006, winning another Publisher of the Year award for the company in 2010. In 2012 she was elected President of The Publishers Association.
