Martha Lane Fox is a digital entrepreneur. She is the Government's UK Digital Champion and Chair of Go On UK, a charity dedicated to promoting computer literacy among the 10.8 million Britons who do not use the internet.
She co-founded the website Lastminute.com in 1998, stepping down as director in November 2003 and later selling it for £571 million. Since then she has gone on to found the karaoke company Lucky Voice and become a member of the boards of the Women's Prize for Fiction, Marks & Spencer and MyDeco.com. She is chair of MakieLab and Forum for Good. She was made a CBE in 2013.
