Ruby McGregor Smith CBE

Ruby McGregor Smith joined MITIE, a British outsourcing and energy services company in 2002 and became CEO in 2007. She has overseen a £1.5 billion growth in revenue. She qualified as an accountant at BDO Stoy Hayward in 1991 before taking financial roles for Serco, SGI Babcock International and MITIE.

Her charitable work includes chairing the Women’s Business Council and the Board for the Tissue Bank Development for Breast Cancer Campaign. She was awarded a CBE in 2012
