Judith McKenna has been Chief Operating Officer of the supermarket chain Asda since 2011. She has worked for the company since 1996, holding positions in property, construction, and commercial finance. Prior to joining the firm she trained as a chartered accountant with KPMG and worked in a number of financial roles in retail.
It was announced in January 2013 that she would be moving to Asda's parent-company Walmart, to become executive vice-president of strategy and international development.
