BBC Three's style gives a freedom and creativity that means you can explore big subjects in unexpected ways

Other BBC Three documentaries he’s overseen include How Safe Are My Drugs?, Young, British and Broke, Sex, Lies and Gagging Orders and Porn: What’s the Harm?

Rob says: "I particularly enjoy working on documentaries like these because not only do they give an opportunity to explore a topic in more detail – sometimes from a personal perspective that’s challenging or provocative – but because BBC Three's style gives a freedom and creativity that means you can explore big subjects in unexpected ways."

Rob is also the executive producer for successful BBC One series such as Rip Off Britain and Operation Hospital Food with James Martin. He was Series Editor of consumer series Watchdog between 2006 and 2010. He has also worked in the BBC’s Editorial Policy department, and on other programmes including Blue Peter, The One Show, and Rogue Traders.

Prior to joining the BBC, he worked for the Good Pub Guide. Based on his experiences there of travelling around the UK, Rob got his break in TV working as a researcher on BBC One’s Holiday series.
