A neat new idea: Yorkshire is making whisky
If you think that Yorkshire is a county full of ale drinkers, think again. That’s the message from the founders of the county’s first ever whiskey distillery. They say so much barley is grown on the Yorkshire Wolds to make scotch, it’s a shame that no-one had been using it to make a single malt locally until now. Laura Foster reports.
