Dead Pig's BBC Introducing session
The band formed in the summer of 2007, by Rob Lomax (guitar and vox), Joe Speck (drums) and John Hedges (bass).
"We started jamming some ideas, and within a couple of weeks the band was born.
"Later we were joined by Clare Walton (backing vox and keyboards), then Joe Hedges (lead guitar) came along, after moving back to the UK after a stint in Canada."
The band are writing songs influenced by nothing more than living in the countryside, and the people therein.
"This mash of styles coming together forms an original sound and vibe unique to Dead Pig."
All members of the band have played successfully with numerous other bands, and have a wealth of live and studio experience.
