BBC Fresh Profile: Jude Winstanley
Jude Winstanley is a freelance television production manager.
Jude has experience on a huge mix of productions for TV, radio and the web.

Starting as a runner in 1997, Jude's experience encompasses light entertainment formats, produced-reality, factual, factual entertainment, observational documentary, multi-camera fixed rig and children’s programming. This includes productions in studios and on location, both in the UK and abroad and some hostile environments.
After working on quiz shows including Supermarket Sweep, Strike It Rich and Blockbusters, she became a production secretary and production co-ordinator (The Villa, Test The Nation, 1 vs 100). She took on her first production manager role in 2004, juggling five children’s television formats simultaneously and began a job vacancy, round-robin email list which eventually became theunitlist.com, a well respected and busy portal for vacancies and industry resources.
Subsequent contracts led to an in-house, staff production manager position with CTVC from 2009 to 2012, working across all their television, radio and web documentary productions.
In July 2012, Jude returned to freelance work as a TV production manager and continues to run The Unit List.
Jude also sits on the advisory committees of BAFTA Career Pathways Working Groups, RTS Futures and The Indie Training Fund and is often invited as a guest lecturer to UK universities.
