About Shaun

Shaun has, for almost 10 years, presented the BBC Radio 6Music Breakfast show every weekday between 7am – 10am.

His radio career began with XFM in 2000 fronting the early Breakfast show, later moving to the weekday afternoon show and the Friday Breakfast show.

In 2007 Shaun joined Radio 6 Music as the late evening show host, moving to Breakfast later that year.

He presents the 6 Music Breakfast show alongside Matt Everitt, former drummer for 90’s brit poppers Menswear.

Musically, Shaun is a guitarist, having played in his band Mosque since August 1987.

In 2015 he released a Christmas Song; ‘Please Don’t get Me Anything for Christmas’ which featured Rod Stewart on vocals and bass playing from Level 42’s Mark King.

He is also well known to the 6 Music audience for his ‘Cheddar Cheese song’. A song recorded and released solely about cheese.
