Honey G: I'm the only hip hop star who sleeps in a bunk bed

Honey G has revealed her aspirations to "blow up" like Jay Z and Missy Elliot, despite current un-hip hop sleeping conditions during her time on The X Factor.
The North Weezy rapper is the most talked about act on this year's show and is fully committed to the hip hop lifestyle. However, when she visited Radio 1 Breakfast to play Innuendo Bingo with Scott Mills and Chris Stark she revealed that has to be put on pause when she goes to bed.
"I do have to sleep in a bunk bed. That's the way that I roll," she says of her room in the X Factor mansion.

"I think the bunk beds are quite historical. They've been used previously because some of them have writing on them like 'I love Simon Cowell'.
"Fleur East, Rebecca Ferguson - who knows who might have slept in that bed.
"Obviously, hip hop stars who are rich and famous and have made it probably don't sleep in bunk beds."

Since her rise to fame, Honey G has been accused of being a joke act, but she has very clear ambitions for her career after The X Factor finishes.
"I'm looking for a recording contract to launch my career as a hip hop music artist," she says.
"I entered X Factor because obviously I'm keen on a record deal with Simon Cowell's label.
"I want to be a multi-platinum recording rap artist, to blow up and do global tours. Blow up like people like Jay Z, Missy Elliot and Pharrell have.
"That's the direction I want to go in. I've had a taste of rap culture and the rap game and I just want more now."

She has already caught the attention of some hip hop heavyweights, with 50 Cent having spoken of his support for the London star.
"I was really chuffed he recently endorsed me," she says.
"He said some really wicked things and obviously he has shown his support for me and he's backing me, which is really good because he is a massive legend in hip hop himself.
"To be backed by someone who's completely genuine and who has made it in the hip hop game is pretty sick for me."
X Factor is on ITV at 8pm, Saturday
