To complement the BBC's search for the Young Dancer of 2015, BBC Arts profiles the hugely influential American dancer and choreographer Martha Graham - 'Goddess of Dance'.

Martha Graham's modern take on dance and her development of a new language of movement made her a driving force in contemporary dance. In this exclusive film we see excerpts from classic Martha Graham creations - including Heretic (1929), Appalachian Spring (1944) and Lamentation (1943) - as choreographer Wayne McGregor and artistic director Sharon Watson consider Graham's influence on today's dancers.
