We took The 1975 to a car park & recreated some scenes from Drive!
The 1975 have written a brand new piece of music for the Radio 1 Rescore of Drive
Naturally this meant taking them to a car park and making them pose like Carey Mulligan
I think we got pretty close
While we were down there, we thought we'd ask them about their favourite music movie moments
Just look how much Matt loves The Lion King!
Remember that really swanky lift that Ryan Gosling uses during the movie?
Yeah, the BBC lifts aren't quite as glamorous
Although we did lie on the floor and get George to stamp on us in an angry manner. Just like Ryan Gosling
Oh and you know how Ryan Gosling gets to pose next to loads of ultra cool cars?
Well yeah the BBC car park seemed to be full of Ford Mondeos!

Remember that incredibly touching and intimate scene in the lift? Well...
No no no we didn't get them to recreate that! We just got them to squat in a parking space instead
We didn't think anyone would ever get close... but George had a jacket that was almost as incredible as Ryan's incredible scorpion jacket

By the time we got on the rooftop the guys were fully in character as lean mean driving machines
Even Nino looked scared
Despite our scenes not looking quite as cool as the movie, The 1975 still seem pretty excited about being involved
