9 transatlantic pop collabs that prove UK and US relations are JUST FINE
Tinie Tempah's new tune, Text From Your Ex, is a duet with US star Tinashe and it's a bit of a tune. In fact, it was Radio 1's Track of the Day on Friday 20 January.
It's a big day, with some very important political things happening in the world right now. But if the future looks a little uncertain in some areas, you can be sure that the UK and US will continue to trade in brilliant pop music for many years to come.

Little Mix & Jason Derulo - Secret Love Song

Little Mix did their bit for international relations in 2015 when they teamed up with hip-shaking, body-popping superstar Jason Derulo for this ballad of epic proportions.
There was a real love story behind the track too, as Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall also dated Jason Derulo after working together on the duet. It didn't last :(
M.O. & Kent Jones - Not In Love

When you're on the verge of becoming pop's next favourite girl-group, hooking up with a US rapper can really seal the deal.
M.O. teamed up with Kent Jones, one of America's hottest new stars for their tune Not In Love, who's still riding high on the success of his solo hit, Don't Mind.
Louis Tomlinson & Steve Aoki - Just Hold On

Louis Tomlinson really blindsided us with his EDM collab with Steve Aoki. We knew the other One Direction boys were working hard on solo music, but his work with US producer Steve Aoki really came out of the blue.
Since 1D split Louis has spent plenty of time in the US, having dated actress Danielle Campbell for a year. Sadly, they recently split up.

Calvin and Rihanna's 2011 collaboration, We Found Love, was so successful it took the pair five years to revisit the magic in 2016 with What You Came For. Fortunately, despite what so-called-experts will tell you, lightning really does strike twice.

ZAYN & Taylor Swift - I Don't Wanna Live Forever
The one thing Taylor cares about more than political harmony is her #SQUAD, so teaming up with her BFF Gigi Hadid's boyfriend ZAYN for this track was a bit of a no-brainer.

Naughty Boy & Beyonce - Running
